Devlog week 8


As a team we took a long time to discuss what our level layout is going to look like as we think it's ideal to have it clear on paper before we start designing the map. The first sketches were made and their opinion was also consulted with the teaching team. Collusion was also added for a top down world, that is, characters can pass in front of or behind objects or the other player. Interaction with objects was also worked on, for which a book that characters can push was added. Finally, fixed some things in the main menu. Now the background image is set to full screen and by pressing credits you can go back. Other areas were worked on, such as the implementation of changing the textures for the character and the pause menu, as well as the ability to pick up objects, but due to problems they could not be fully implemented, so it does not appear in the executable.
